Each Wednesday, Cherubs are given the chance to explore downtown Chicago, including an architectural boat tour, visiting CBS, NPR, the Sun-Times, Fox and more. Fostering long-lasting memories.

LOGAN KREISBERG: Hi. I’m Logan Kreisberg.

What is your favorite memory from these past Wednesdays?

LOGAN: I really enjoy going to Millennium Park and seeing The Bean, you know, when I think of Chicago, that’s really the first monument that I think of, and I was really excited to see it up close in person.

Next up, we will hear from Riley, who recaps on the boat tour.

RILEY SHOSH: Hi. My name is Riley Shosh. We went down this, like, long flight of stairs, and it was just this gorgeous view of the river. We got on the boat, and it’s like a huge open-top boat with, like, seats, and then you could, like, go downstairs and go under and, like, look at the front of the boat, and we have to go through the locking system, which was really cool.

It’s super fascinating. And I loved how they were explaining it to us.

On the last Wednesday of the Cherub program, they were given two options: either visit the Art Institute or shop until they drop.

BEATRICE SOPKO: Hi. My name is Beatrice Sopko. I really love art, so my number one choice…The Art Institute.

Visiting the Bean, Art Institute, and architectural boat tours made the trips to Chicago a huge success.
