It\u2019s a little bleaker because I wasn\u2019t smart enough to bring some photos and plants like Eva did. This is my American flag I picked up at the Fourth of July parade. It wakes me up in the morning and I feel very patriotic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: Cara\u2019s stuffed animals made the trip with her to Evanston.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CARA: This is Gooser, this is Bamboo and this is Uh-Oh.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 2: Eva has photos of her family and friends tacked up above her desk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EVA: Whenever I used to go to camp, I would always bring photos and some stuff just to make it feel more homey, so when I came here I thought I would do the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: Over the course of four weeks, Eva and Cara have become not just forced roommates, but true friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EVA: You want to be able to live well with the person, and obviously it would be super nice if you guys could be friends, and I feel so lucky that I have both.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[KNOCKING SOUND]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[DOOR OPENING SOUND]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HAILEY LLOYD: Hi!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 2: Next up is room 303: Hailey Lloyd and Glennis Woosley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: Here\u2019s Glennis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GLENNIS WOOSLEY: Our room layout was really awkward when we first got here, because we have a little corner of dead space, where my desk and my bed just leave a random area unattainable. So, it was really awkward, which I think also might be one of the reasons why I don\u2019t care to keep it super nice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: Hailey and Glennis quickly became friends on the first day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HAILEY: The first time when I met Glennis, I didn\u2019t know her that well, but I thought that she was super laid back and chill. We actually made conversation pretty well the first day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GLENNIS: We bounced off of each other. And we ended up having conversations until 2 a.m. for 4 nights in a row. It was fun, and I love you, and I appreciate those moments. But our sleep schedules were really bad for a moment there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HAILEY: It\u2019s still messed up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[KNOCKING SOUND]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BRADEN STONE: Welcome to our crib.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 2: Here\u2019s Braden Stone and Kai Shah of room 408.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">KAI SHAH: On my desk is just some random books and stuff and some snacks and a football and my dope sunglasses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: Braden and Kai\u2019s room had a slightly off-putting odor on the day we stopped by.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BRADEN: It comes from two sources. One, spoiled banana that was left in our trash can from the first day of camp to about ten minutes ago. Second source, laundry, he enjoys leaving it on the floor for like five days, I don&#8217;t mind. It\u2019s a good pastime. Favorite pastime of my roommate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 2: The two have fun long into the night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BRADEN: Give him a kiss on the head.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[LAUGHTER]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BRADEN: When I was asleep maybe you did that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">KAI: Yeah. I\u2019m just kidding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: The two know their combined strengths and are not afraid to share them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BRADEN: We\u2014we have the most ball knowledge of any roommate duo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">KAI: We have more electricity than lightning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 2: Well, that does it for roommate talk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: Although it can be scary, roommates are often your quickest and closest cherub friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 2: From Cherubs Audio, this is Jake Lubin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NARRATOR 1: And this is Leo Beirne.
