For those with little to no laundry experience, the process may seem daunting. However, with helpful tools, a plan and a community willing to lend a hand \u2014 and detergent \u2014 cherubs can manage the task safely.<\/span><\/p>\n

To make laundry day easier, here are a few tips from 2025 cherubs:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Go early to skip the wait.<\/b> Lina Park of Vancouver, Canada, said mornings were the best time to do laundry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe nights are busier than the mornings, because a lot of people can\u2019t be bothered to wake up super early,\u201d Park said.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Check LaundryView.<\/b> To avoid unnecessary trips to the basement, students can use LaundryView.com to check which machines are available in real time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou scan a QR code that\u2019s on the washing machines and you can see which ones are free and empty,\u201d said Molly Kaplan of San Jose, California.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Use Tide Pods if detergent is confusing.<\/b> Aadhya Yanamadala of Dallas said she switched to Tide Pods after watching her friend use liquid detergent incorrectly.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy friend put the detergent in the wrong compartment, and he had to scoop out the liquid detergent with his hands and transfer it,\u201d Yanamadala said. \u201cIt was definitely a good learning experience.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Use the Sharing Shelf.<\/b> Kaplan said students who forget detergent shouldn\u2019t worry, as cherubs are willing to make items communal.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you don\u2019t bring detergent, it\u2019s okay, because our Sharing Shelf is very abundant,\u201d Kaplan said.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. The laundry room is a social space.<\/b> While doing laundry might seem like a solo chore, the cherub laundry room can be a convenient way to meet new people.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it fosters a collaborative spirit in the laundry room itself,\u201d Yanamadala said. \u201cPeople hang out there. They talk while they wait for their clothes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
