{"id":7683,"date":"2025-07-22T21:10:40","date_gmt":"2025-07-22T21:10:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cherubs.medill.northwestern.edu\/2025\/?p=7683"},"modified":"2025-07-30T15:20:59","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T20:20:59","slug":"coffee-shops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cherubs.medill.northwestern.edu\/2025\/07\/coffee-shops\/","title":{"rendered":"Sipping away through Evanston coffee shops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After Joshua Stoll of Weston, Florida, discovered Cupitol Coffee, an Evanston cafe, with his mom the day before the cherubs program started, it quickly became his go-to coffee spot for the summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI have loved trying the different coffees on the menu, especially the ones that I haven\u2019t seen at stores by my house,\u201d Stoll said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Downtown Evanston\u2019s six local cafes are more than just a caffeine fix for cherubs.
