Program dates: <\/b>June 29 to July 25, 2025, on the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, IL.<\/p>

Deadline: <\/strong>All materials must be received by <\/span>4 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025.<\/span>\u00a0(The Institute does <\/span>not<\/strong> accept applications by fax or email.) Letters to all <\/span>applicants\u00a0will be mailed on or before March 26, 2025.<\/span><\/p>

Tuition:<\/b> $5,000, which includes room and board.<\/span><\/p>

Financial aid: <\/strong>The University has up to $100,000 in financial aid and scholarships available for 2025 students. Complete the financial-aid form if you are applying for financial aid or if you want to be considered for one of the named scholarships listed in the brochure. Students who apply for financial aid automatically will be considered for any of the named scholarships for which they qualify. (No need to complete the form if you are not applying for aid.)<\/span><\/p>

With most web browsers, the application and financial-aid forms are\u00a0\u201cfillable.\u201d\u00a0You can type in the information requested, print the completed form, sign it at the top and mail it to Northwestern with the other required items (essay\/activity list\/writing samples\/check).<\/p>

You can include materials from your guidance counselor and the teacher\u2019s letter of recommendation in the same envelope you use to send your part of the application but those items should be in separate, sealed envelopes.\u00a0(As an alternative, teachers can send their letters by email attachment to: r-boye@northwestern.edu.)<\/p>

If your test scores are available and your counselor cannot provide them, you can take a screen shot of your scores, print the screen shot and send it with your part of the application. Also, please note that mid-year or first-semester grades are a required<\/b> part of the application.<\/p>
