This summer, whenever cherubs walked down Sheridan Road across from the dorm, a cherub-run Snapchat story appeared. Cherub Mona Murhamer of Belmont, California, created the custom story, which allows a group within the same geographical area to add to and view a story, on the first night of the program. Most cherubs had joined by the end of the summer.
“It’s really cool to have our own exclusive, family thing,” Murhamer said. “Separate from our friends back home.”
Snapchat released custom stories in May, making the 2017 cherubs the first class to have one. Here’s a look into cherub life through the eyes of the “Medill Cherubs!!” custom story:
